On the surface, the red planet’s freeze-dried world of rocks, ice, and dust looks like an unlikely place to plant a garden.
But rocks and minerals found by the Mars rovers show it must once have had warmer, habitable living conditions.
Now, using photorealistic CGI visualizations, we’ll make a science
fiction dream of Mars — a world of trees, rivers, and blue skies — a
plausible future,
bringing it to life after three-and-a-half billion years in a deep freeze.

Episode 1 - Volcanoes
Volcanoes are one of nature’s most awesome and destructive forces, but
they are also the life force and architect of our planet. They can raise
up great mountains and create new land, or they can level cities and
destroy entire civilizations. They provide a glimpse of the power of
Earth’s internal heat source, without which it would have become a dead
planet millions of years ago. In this episode, Iain takes us on a
journey to some of the most dramatic places on Earth, starting in

Episode 2 - The Atmosphere
The atmosphere is Earth’s protective layer, cloaking us in a warm,
oxygen-rich embrace and shielding us from the cold hostility of space.
It acts as a natural greenhouse, keeping the Earth 51 degrees Fahrenheit
warmer than it would otherwise be. Yet the atmosphere is also full of
contradictions. It’s immensely powerful but at the same time highly
sensitive. It’s destructive, yet it shelters us. It was created in part
by the planet’s first organisms, and it continues to be essential for

Episode 3 - Ice
Our icy adventure begins with host Dr. Iain Stewart in the Alps, where
he goes down an ice crevasse to show viewers how snowfall develops into
expansive masses. Then, we see how ice can shape the earth's topography
giving rise to features like Yosemite National Park and Manhattan
Island, in NY. Finally, journey to Greenland and see how ice sheets and
glaciers are melting at a phenomenal rate that is likely to accelerate
over the coming years, changing the world as we know it.

Episode 4 - Oceans
Earth’s oceans help make our planet different from every other planet in
the solar system. As far as we know, no other place is the right temp
for liquid water, the most essential ingredient for life to exist. The
oceans are Earth’s primary stabilizing force, and their immense power
helps to shape the appearance and behavior of the entire planet and
everything living on it. And they are also the planet's great unknown -
their deepest points have been visited less than the surface of the

Episode 5 - Rare Earth
It has taken 4.6 billion years for the Earth to evolve from a barren
rock into the world we know today. Explore the forces beyond our planet
that have determined Earth’s destiny forces of destruction and
regeneration in the solar system that created the planet and still
protect it. And now the remarkable planet is facing a new challenge:
humankind. The question is, how will it survive?

“Lamborghinis factory in SantAgata Bolognese, Italy [ALT: 20 miles/30
kilometers north of Bologna) is building its fastest car ever the
Murcielago SV, of which just 350 will be made. The $450,000 Murcielago
SV launches from 0 to 62 miles per hour in just 3.2 seconds and can
achieve a top speed of 212 miles per hour. The factory builds the car
almost entirely by hand including its engine and body. The car is also
painted and assembled by hand, including installation of the famous
Lamborghini scissor doors. Every car is custom-built to order, and only
2.7 cars are completed per day.

The Sun has always been a source of warmth, comfort and light. But we're
discovering a new and frightening side to our star. A kind of solar
rage peaks every eleven years.
And sometimes, Earth is in the line of fire. It's a billion pounds of
matter traveling at a million miles an hour - a solar blast - which
could send us scrambling.
Without warning, navigation systems could be disrupted, blinding jets in
the sky. Phone connections around the world could go dead, leaving us
stranded during emergencies.

The Burj Al Arab is a luxury hotel in Dubai, United Arab Emirates
managed by the Jumeirah Group and built by Said Khalil. It was designed
by Tom Wright of WS Atkins PLC. At 321 metres (1,053 ft), it is the
tallest building used exclusively as a hotel. The Burj Al Arab stands on
an artificial island 280 metres (919 ft) out from Jumeirah beach, and
is connected to the mainland by a private curving bridge. It is an
iconic structure, designed to symbolize Dubai's urban transformation and
to mimic the billowing sail of a boat.See how the engineers have
crossed the hurdle to build this 7 star hotel.
